AI writes the blandest emails on the planet.

AI writes the blandest emails on the planet. "I hope this email finds you well." "I wanted to reach out regarding..." "Per our last conversation..." Nobody talks like this. Yet we're all sending emails that sound like they came from the same corporate robot. Here's the problem: AI gives you a starting point, not a finished product. The draft AI creates is functional. It's grammatically correct. It covers the key points. But it's missing the one thing that actually gets responses: human nuance. The casual aside. The personal reference. The joke that breaks the ice. The acknowledgment that you're both human beings having a conversation, not robots exchanging data. Example: AI version: "I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to follow up on our previous discussion regarding your marketing strategy." Human version: "Hey Sarah - loved your post about the chaos of managing three clients at once. Been there. Quick follow-up on our marketing chat from last week..." See the difference? One sounds like it was written by compliance. The other sounds like it was written by someone who actually gives a damn. The fix is simple: Let AI draft it. Then read it out loud. If you wouldn't say it in a real conversation, rewrite it. Add your personality. Reference something specific. Make it sound like you. Your email response rate will thank you. P.S. If your last email included "I hope this finds you well," you need to retrain your AI immediately.
