The studio kept getting converted into office space. Daniel Francavilla finally stopped letting that happen.
He'd used various studio and office spaces for years. Post-pandemic, no dedicated space. Rejoined a studio with a former agency. Opened a podcast studio. Then, it slowly turned back into a general office because people needed somewhere to meet and work.
Sound familiar?
Here's the thing about creative space. If it doesn't have a defined purpose, someone will always find a "better" use for it.
For Daniel, the breaking point was simple. He wanted to bring people in, tell their stories, and do it with the right gear and lighting. No compromises. No converting the room next week because someone needs a boardroom.
So he built a space that does two things. His own content. Client work. Both under one roof, both done properly.
That's the move most creatives put off way too long. You don't need a massive budget. You need a space that's actually protected for what it's meant to do.
P.S. Do you have a dedicated space for your creative work, or does it keep getting repurposed? Drop it in the comments.
