I never thought about how the corners of my room were affecting my energy. Or that my bed being too close to the wall was messing with my sleep. But Pier Paolo Alberghini makes a pretty compelling case. He talks about something most people completely overlook when setting up their home or office. Here's what he recommends: Quarter rounds in every 90-degree corner. Energy gets stuck in sharp corners. This keeps it moving. Keep your desk and bed at least 40 cm from the walls. Electrical wires emit EMF even when your devices are off. Remove metal objects from under your bed. Metal attracts EMF right toward you while you sleep. Ditch the metal bed frame. Go wood. Metal amplifies the problem. Wood doesn't. I'll be honest. I didn't expect to care about this. But when the logic connects architecture to how your body performs in a space, it's hard to ignore. Your environment is either working for you or against you. Might be worth checking which one it is. P.S. Have you ever made a simple change to your space and noticed a real difference in how you felt or slept?

Stop Copying. Start Building for Your Market.
Have you ever walked into a space and just felt different? More peaceful. More energized. Almost like the building was doing something to you? That's what Pier Paolo Alberghini was chasing when he studied architecture. He kept walking through cathedrals and temples, thinking, "How do they build something that makes people feel this way?" His professors gave him the answer: proportions. But not a cookie-cutter formula. The right proportions depend on where the building sits. The location shapes everything. And I think that's one of the most underrated lessons in business. We spend so much time trying to copy what's working for someone else. But what works in their market might not work in yours. The context matters. The environment matters. Great architects read their surroundings before they design. Great marketers do the exact same thing. P.S. What's one thing you've tried that worked for someone else but just didn't land for you?

The Original Host Bailed 72 Hours Out. So I Took the Stage
The original host bailed. 72 hours out. Someone had to step up. I said yes. And that's how an MC career started. No script. No training. No perfect origin story. Just a phone call and a decision. Here's what nobody tells you about live hosting: The room doesn't care about your prepared remarks. It only remembers how you handled the moments nobody planned for. That's it. That's the whole job. Crisis builds better skills than rehearsal ever could. Improvisation isn't a backup plan. It's the actual job description. And the best opportunities? They almost always show up wrapped in chaos. So here's the real question. Are you waiting for perfect conditions? Or are you saying yes to the gap? π️ New episode dropping soon. Hit follow so you don't miss it.

He Built a Kidney-Shaped Pool in Cairo. Here's Why It Makes You Feel Better Every Time.
Have you ever walked into a space and just immediately felt calmer? Not because it was fancy. Not because it looked a certain way. Just because something about it felt right. That's what Ibrahim discovered with his kidney-shaped pool. He built the first one at his home in Cairo. And every single time he got in, he felt better. More at peace. More energized. So he started thinking about why. Kidneys are how your body filters and regenerates. They're a source of energy. When you're literally surrounded by that shape in the water, something clicks on a biological and psychological level. You feel it before you understand it. That's great design. And honestly, it's a reminder that the best things we build, pools, businesses, brands, they work because they're connected to something true about how humans actually feel and function. Not just how things look on the surface. P.S. What's a space in your life that makes you feel better every single time you're in it?

He Chose Easy. His Own Data Said He Was Miserable.
He traded stress for easy. His own data proved it was a mistake. Joshua Counsil stepped back in 2023. Lower pressure. No direct reports. Just breathing room. Except he wasn't breathing. He was suffocating. His mood-tracking app showed his happiness was actually lower during the "calm" period than when he was in the thick of it. Some people aren't built for less. They're built for challenge. And when you take that away, boredom moves in. And boredom hits harder than burnout ever did. Know your wiring. It changes everything. #entrepreneurmindset #mindset #businessowner #growthmindset #motivation #leadership #personaldevelopment #smallbusiness #youtubeshorts

Most Architects Miss This (And Most Business Owners Do Too)
You know what most people skip when they're building something, whether it's a house or a business? They skip the part where they actually understand what they're working with. The best architects don't just design beautiful spaces. They take time to understand the land. The existing trees. The natural flow of the site. They build with it, not over it. During the construction of the Cas, not a single old tree was cut down. That's a choice. A deliberate one. And honestly, it hit me because it's exactly how I think about growing a business. You don't come in and wipe the slate clean just because you're excited to build something new. You look at what's already there. You figure out what's working. Then you build around it. Most people don't do this. They're so focused on the new thing that they accidentally destroy the good thing they already had. Take the time to understand your foundation. That's where the real work starts. P.S. What's one thing in your business you've been building around instead of over?
